Mission & Money

There have always been two passions in my life: art and healing. For some reason, I often believed that these two needed to be kept separate. Not sure why, because in hindsight I can clearly see how the one has always been influencing the other, and vice versa.

Also, both come from the same place: being a vessel and listening deeply to what wants to come through, and then allowing it in.

What has been coming through strongly is that I need to get back to being a teacher (after 10 months of working mostly as a photographer). Despite my either - or tendencies, I won’t give up photography entirely.

But my main focus is now once again to work with healing facilitators, artists and other people on a mission, and to help them create a business that sustains them.

After analysing what worked and didn’t work in my own extensive career (30 + years…) of working as a healing facilitator and/or a photographer/writer/artist, I’ve boiled it down to three main points:

Firstly, you’ve got to know where you want to get to.

What is your thing?

What are you so passionate about that you can’t not do it?

What do you go in circles around, over and over again?

What is so important that you’ll actually show up for it?

What is your life about?

What’s the legacy you want to leave?

If you can’t relate to these questions, you didn’t come in with a specific mission in this lifetime. Nothing wrong with that. But then this newsletter list isn’t for you, unless you want to see how the other half lives :).

Secondly, there is the inner work that needs to happen if you want to succeed with your mission.

There are blockages, old patterns and self worth stuff that can hold us back. There are some very creative ways out there in which we sabotage ourselves!

The thing is, if you don’t believe that it will happen for you, no-one else will believe it either.

There’s no white knight coming, and there likely also won’t be a lottery win in your immediate future (especially not if you don’t even buy a ticket, ask me how I know 🤦🏻‍♀️). We’ve gotta do the work to get out of our own way!

Point 2 can be further separated into past life stuff and current life hang-up’s.

And then thirdly, we have to get into action!!!

Strategic, clear, ruthless (aka no matter if you’re ‘feeling it’ or not!) kind of action. You can be in your feminine and still DO stuff that sets you up for success! In fact, you absolutely HAVE TO!

If not, all your potential, all your greatness, your unique vision and the beauty you’re meant to bring through isn’t going to happen.

Plus, you’ll feel unfulfilled, miserable and like a failure.

Action can be taken at any time. You take your power back through consistently showing up for what you say is important to you. No matter how the response it. No matter if others ‘get’ you or not. This is all secondary.

What matters most is you showing up for what you came here to do!

You'll feel SO much better if you do!

I’ve got something brewing (after all, this place is called Waking Witches) to help with all of this.

For now, it’s a work in progress. One thing that is ready for you is a free, 2 week email series called ‘Mission & Money’, about the different ways in which we sabotage our success.

Awareness is the first step to change. And sometimes, becoming aware of why you’re doing what you’re doing is all that’s needed to shift that pattern.

Plus (so that it doesn’t get too depressing…) there are also simple, practical way to uplevel your life, right here, right now, in each email. If you feel more abundant, you’ll automatically attract more abundance back to you.

Check it out, it’s free, and you can unsubscribe at any time if you don’t like it.
